New York Redistricting: What Happened and What’s Next? Part Two
In Part Two of the conference hosted by the New York Elections, Census, and Redistricting Institute at New York Law School, Steven Romalewski, Director of the CUNY Mapping Service at the Center for Urban Research at The Graduate Center, gave a presentation on how the district maps changed in New York. A panel of redistricting experts discussed the changes to the redistricting rules, the role of the courts in enacting the new rules, and what might shift before 2030 through new constitutional reform.
