Despite no redistricting data forthcoming for quite some time, the California Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission is busy preparing for the complicated process of map-drawing later this year. The CRC hired its official linedrawer in March and received confirmation from its state data center that it will be able to use the earliest release of redistricting data expected in mid-August.
